The material is a woven, porous, "nylon-like" material. When printed the ink is thermally introduced into the material, a similar process to tattooing human skin. Like a tattoo the ink will not fade or wash off. The material has amazing properties and is almost indestructible.

The name tapes are 46mm wide x 12mm high an ideal size for identifying clothing and property. The labels are pre-cut with rounded corners and are supplied on a backing paper. Full application instructions are printed on the back of the Iron-On backing paper.

The Iron-On material is white with black print and is applied with a medium heat iron. Please note, some other brands of Iron On name tapes are made of other material which has to be applied using a very hot iron, which is therefore unsuitable for applying to some fabrics. Kwik Tapes are applied with a medium heat iron and are therefore suitable for applying to all fabrics.

Uses
Iron-On can be applied to all clothing, even socks. As a general rule, if it can go through the wash it can have an Iron-On applied. It is also useful to name items for easy identification - if you have several children it can be difficult to know or remember what belongs to who. A Kwik Tape will soon solve the debate.

Peel-n-Stick can be applied to all property or basically anything which you would NOT put through the washing machine.

Think of a child going to school, camp or for a sleepover; all their clothing can be identified with an Iron-On and all their property, contents of bag, pockets etc can be identified with a Peel-n-Stick.

Every item, be it clothing or property which gets removed from the home as the potential of being lost or mislaid, a Kwik Tape will make it simple to identify and return.

Adults - it's not only school children who lose things. When did you last lose a wallet, passport, cell phone, make-up bag, umbrella, reading glasses, book etc.

How often do you lend a friend a book, CD or DVD and never get it back? If you have your name on it they will remember who lent it and return it.

Babies and toddlers
Many parents feel children are "too young" to require name tapes. If children are old enough to drop something out the push-chair, kick off a show or lose a drink bottle they are old enough to have their own name tapes.
